DJ Snake is one of the earliest Dallas-based hip-hop producers that
began his career as a local DJ before helping co-found the independent
Get Off Me Records in 1987. Snake released his first single Oak Cliff /
Snake Beats and helped produce for the hip-hop collective group Nemesis
in 1988.

The following year the group landed a record deal with Profile Records
and Snake remained as an official memeber and Nemesis' lead producer
until 1993/94 when he parted due to creative differences. After
departing from Nemesis, Snake released two bass albums along with DJ AK
in the mid-1990's. Throughout the 90's decade DJ Snake has played an
important part in the Dallas-Ft. Worth hip-hop scene producing for many
artists including P.K.O., Royal Flush, Ron C and other regional acts. In
the late 1990's Snake was invited to produce for Bay Area rapper Too
Short and has continued to contribute to his recent releases. Although
in recent years Snake has become more of a national artist, he is still
one of Dallas-Ft. Worth's leading hip-hop musicians.

DJ AK is a DJ and producer from San Antonio, Texas who was a member of
P.K.O. and now resides in Houston.

Till Bass Do Us Part was released on Youngsta Records from San Antonio,
Texas in 1994 on cassette, CD, and vinyl.

Till Bass Do Us Part is a hodgepodge of samples over scratching along
with breakbeats with an ensemble drums and bass on beats. Most of the
drum programming, beats, and percussion was done by DJ Snake. DJ AK did
most of the cuts and scratches. Samples used on the album range in
sub-genres and genres from old school hip hop, gangsta rap, Electronic
music, Miami bass, Dallas bass, Screw music, West Coast rap, East Coast
rap, rock, and dance music.

Moments in Bass is sampled from Moments in Love by Art of Noise which is
a 5 minutes long instrumental track with super low bass and heavy
hitting high percussion.

Buggin Bass is sampled from 3rd Bass - Step to the AM and Nemesis - Oak
Cliff (1986 version and not the widely known 1989 version.)

Drop The Bass is an extended version of the Nemesis track from the 1989
version of the To Hell and Back album released on Profile Records.

Too Damn Low is a 3 and a half minute long track of low bass. Super
heavy low bass with repeated sound samples in ensemble.

Just A Beat (Stomp Action) samples Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon
and N.W.A. - On Tha Set. The beginning starts off with the Pink Floyd -
Dark Side of The Moon rock sample. Breakbeats and programmed drum beats
just continue on from there. Vocal samples are added into the mix too.

Snakes Last Remix is an instrumental track filled with low heavy bass
and a repeated sample on percussion.

3. Drop The Bass 4:42
